Company profile

BitGravity was founded in 2006, when they launched the world's first content delivery network built and optimized for on-demand video delivery and HD live streaming. BitGravity is owned by and integrated with Tata Communications, a global carrier that operates the world's largest Tier 1 network.

Network Map

The Bitgravity network map has two highlights: the two POPs in Australia and the 5 POPs in India. Several CDNs don't have any POPs in those regions. Bitgravity CDN Network Map

Pricing & Contract duration

Like many CDNs, Bitgravity has a tiered pricing model: the more bandwidth you use, the less you pay per unit (GB). The first bucket is up to 2 TB per month ($295 per month) and the top tier bucket is 15 TB ($1,000/m). Need more than 15 TB/month? Bitgravity offers custom price plans. Each tier/bucket has a number of GET requests included in the price (mouse over the ? icons below) , and customers pay a overage fee for extra GETs ($0.01 per 10,000 requests). Bitgravity charges a $250 setup fee.

Note: custom price plans are very common in the CDN market, especially for large volume customers. We recommend you always talk to the CDN provider about your needs and requirements and work with them to get a best-fit deal.
