Internap delivers colocation, high-speed connectivity, Content Delivery Network (CDN) and managed hosting solutions throughout the world. Internap has been in business since 1996 and has offices in the US, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Internap acquired Voxel in Q4 2011.

Internap has POPs in many places in the world, too many to list here. Private Network Access Points connect Internap to many Tier 1 ISP backbones in each POP via paid transit connections. This guarantees network availability and avoids congestion typical in large public peering points. Patented MIRO route optimization technology measures real-time latency and packet loss information across Internap ISP partners and selects the best available route to the end user. Internap's XIP web acceleration technology adds TCP protocol optimization and was awarded a Golden Bridge Award – which honors innovative technology products and services worldwide – in the category of "Performance Optimization."

Purge	Both MediaConsole (the Internap online control panel) and the API support single file, multiple file (folder), and wildcard purge. The Cache Purge Manager tool built into MediaConsole allows ad hoc or scheduled purges.
