Telefónica is a large, global telecom provider, with presence in Europe, Africa and Latin America, operating in 25 countries. Telefónica launched their content delivery network in Q2 2011 and has been gradually building awareness for the CDN. They have a lot of POPs in South-America and quite a few in Europe, and a solid feature set.

Telefónica has their own international backbone (AS12952), many peering agreements and excellent POP coverage in South-America and Europe, including POPs in Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Spain and Czech Republic.

Features & Support
Telefónica CDN has all the basics like CNAME and an API, but also some interesting not-so-common features, like a staging environment, DDOS attack resistance and Hotlink protection.
