XCDN is a pay as you go, no commit CDN service utilizing Akamai’s global delivery platform for basic website delivery. XCDN is created and managed by Exceda, a cloud enablement service provider that specializes in planning, integrating and managing the whole Akamai portfolio.

Pricing & Contract duration

XCDN is 'Akamai without a commit'. You pay as you go, based on GBs transferred. The $0.14 is a special introductory price until September 1, 2014. Some addons are available: Site Failover ($75/per month) and Secure Object Delivery/SSL ($150/per month)

Control Panel & statisticsYesHelpIn May of 2014, XCDN will be offering an array of proactive alerting for traffic and origin monitoring. A companion mobile application will be available in April of 2014 to enable basic traffic reporting, alerts, and URL purging functionality to both Android and iOS devices.
Access LogsYesHelpThe XCDN service enables customers to obtain their edge delivery log files. Logs can be delivered via FTP or email. Customers can decide how large they want for their log tarball: 1MB, 2MB, 5MB, 10MB, 25MB, or 50MB in compressed file size. Additional delivery options such as encrypting logs and delivery of logs based on hits over time are available in the upgraded Akamai Site Delivery solution. Other arrangements can be made for RSYNC, SFTP, etc on a one off basis. Contact Exceda for more information.

SupportYesHelpExceda is the only Akamai partner with certified professional services trained personnel on staff. We support English, Spanish, and Portuguese in our support center 7x24x365.
