A POP is a Point Of Presence, an access point to the Internet. It is a physical, strategically placed location that houses multiple CDN servers.

Resend from origin, or compress on edgeCotendo also offers the possibility to deactivate Gzip on the origin and have Cotendo do the Gzipping on their servers (compression-on-the-fly), for an even faster delivery to end users and less load on the origin. And, Cotendo supports exclude lists. If a specific user-agent requests a compressed object, the Cotendo server can decide to send it uncompressed due to known compliancy issues that the user-agent might have.

Cotendo supports full modifications of any headers. The customer can add his own headers, set the value of any existing header and even re-name some headers while preserving their value. Also, to support mobile content delivery, Cotendo's CDN-integrated mobile device database offers the ability and flexibility to cache content according to device.

Access Logs
Rsynch for the log files is supported.
Cotendo supports a full transaction log service which will FTP logs to the customers's FTP server. The customer can decide how frequent he wants the logs to be sent (daily, hourly, real-time). Additionally, the customer can decide which fields and in which format (i.e. supports w3c format) to generate the log.
API
Purge objects from VoxCAST's cache. Adjust the configuration of your VoxCAST CDN to change parameters like cache expiration time; origin settings; log formats; etc.
The different APIs available are: Flush (purge), Set Configuration, Get Configuration, Publish Configuration. Additionally Cotendo supports report APIs (Get Bandwidth Report by Account; Get Bandwidth Report by Origin and many others).
