Short profile QUANTIL launched their CDN services in 2012. They have a strong focus on live stream delivery with continued support for RTMP, L-HLS, HDS, HTTP TS and HTTP FLV. QUANTIL has a full-featured IPv4+IPv6 network and a big network of POPs in 34 countries including mainland China (ChinaNetCenter). The Verizon Media Platform is a division of Verizon. In 2013, Verizon acquired EdgeCast's Content Delivery Network (CDN) along with upLynk's video workflow technology to create a next-generation platform. This platform streamlines the streaming video workflow including encoding, SSAI and delivery, plus accelerates and secures websites and content for broadcasters, retailers and enterprises.
