Fastly is a new generation CDN service, designed to seamlessly integrate with your development stack. Their all-SSD network is deployed close to Telco end-points to deliver the best performance. Fastly is optimized for mobile and API content, and provides real-time reporting, extensive API-based tools and instant purging.
Fastly was founded in 2011 and is funded by O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, Battery Ventures, August Capital, Amplify Partners, and other Silicon Valley investors. Customers include Twitter, The Guardian, Imgur, and GitHub.

Pricing & Contract duration

Fastly doesn’t require long-term contracts, and their pricing is simple and easy to understand, with no hidden costs. Billing is based on request and bandwidth usage, with developer accounts available for testing and a $50 minimum per month for paid accounts. Features & Support

Key Fastly features are instant config updates and instant purging (150 milliseconds), the ability to cache dynamic content, real-time log streaming and analytics, and traffic spike protection. Customers have the flexibility to customize their Varnish configurations at will, and Fastly Support will help out with that.
