Short profile The Verizon Media Platform is a division of Verizon. In 2013, Verizon acquired EdgeCast's Content Delivery Network (CDN) along with upLynk's video workflow technology to create a next-generation platform. This platform streamlines the streaming video workflow including encoding, SSAI and delivery, plus accelerates and secures websites and content for broadcasters, retailers and enterprises. BelugaCDN launched their services in 2015 and is a pay-as-you-go, low-cost CDN provider. They have a full-featured IPv4+IPv6 network and POPs on 5 continents.
