Company
The Edgecast Platform is a division of Yahoo. In 2013, Verizon acquired Edgecast's Content Delivery Network (CDN) along with upLynk's video workflow technology to create a next-generation platform. This platform streamlines the streaming video workflow including encoding, SSAI and delivery, plus accelerates and secures websites and content for broadcasters, retailers and enterprises. In 2021, Edgecast became part of Yahoo.
